Day Trip to Fowey
On Saturday we took a little road trip up to Fowey in Cornwall, a small town and port.
Fowey is at the mouth of the River on the South Coast of Cornwall. I love Cornish seaside villages and fishing villages. They normally have vibrant communities and there's something about the English seaside that gets me all excited.
The weather was pretty overcast but it still looked gorgeous (and I always think overcast is better for photos).
Fowey is a really gorgeous coastal town, with lots of little shops on the walk down to the water. There were lots of little antique shops, jewellery and vintage shops whilst walking through the village. Not to mention the many foodie places!
For lunch we went to the King of Prussia pub, as you do in Cornwall. There are lots of pubs to choose from in Fowey though and I would definitely test out the others if I visited again. Fowey also have a lot of bakeries with lots of Cornish Pasties, which looked absolutely delicious!
On our way out of Fowey we went to Readymoney Cove and did a little exploring...
It was cold, wet, windy and a downhill walk, meaning that heading back to the car wasn't quite so fun but it was beautiful and definitely nice for Arthur to get a little bit of beach action!
