Moving to London

So it's the end of September and the break between getting back from San Francisco and the date I move up to London has been looming closer. Dad kindly drove me up, a long 5 hour car journey wasn't long enough to say goodbye for what would be my first three months at university. I wasn't exactly scared or worried, and I haven't exactly felt homesick, but I knew the comforts of home and the company of my family were two things I was going to miss. So far though, it's been pretty fantastic.

London is such an incredible city; there's so much history, the views are amazing and there are so many people! This is a welcome change after living in the peaceful cities of Auckland and Truro. I've met some really lovely people already and had many days of exploring while the weather has still been sunny!

I've been loving London so far - I'll let you know my thoughts at the end of the term but it already starting to feel like home.
